For Labradoodle Chicago Is Worth Visiting

By Rebecca Fisher

A well-trained labradoodle has one of the best temperaments in the dog kingdom. However, the kind of temperament the puppies turn out with is usually influenced by several different factors. One of the major factors that influence temperament is the temperament of the parents. If the parents had good temperament, it is highly likely that the puppies will also have a good temperament. The same goes for bad temperament. When in need of Labradoodle Chicago needs to be checked out.

The other thing that determines temperament is the amount of socialization that a dog had while still young. Badly socialized dogs may exhibit some aggression towards other pets and strangers as well. Also, they may maintain a certain distance from their owner. This means that in order to hold or touch them a person has to pursue them. In most cases, they prefer staying alone and will snarl at anyone getting closer to them.

In general labradoodles are very friendly dogs. They allow their owners and even strangers to near them and touch their beautiful coats. They also enjoy the company of people a lot, and will always approach people any chance they get. They wag their tails and run around when they are happy and contented. They may also jump on people if they are well socialized but not trained.

Labradoodles are very smart and intelligent dogs. They inherit their intelligence from their poodle parents and their desire to work with people from their labradoodle parents. They are easily trainable if positive reinforcement is used. Rewards given to the dog during training can be in the form of treats, play, and/or praise. Rewards make learning quicker and happier.

A person must begin training the puppy the very day they get home. This breed has the ability of learning even at very young age of about 8 weeks. Training gets harder if a person waits until they are 6 months old since by then they will have used to doing things in a certain way. It can be both dangerous and difficult to teach a grown up dog new skills.

Training needs to start with the basic skills and with time advance to more complex skills. It should be taught one command at a time. At the age of 10 to 12 weeks, the puppy needs to be taken to kindergarten since it helps build their socialization skills. The puppy meets other puppies of different or the same kind and socializes with these puppies.

However, before taking the puppy to public places such as kindergarten classes, one must ensure that they have already received all the necessary vaccines. The first vaccine that should be administered is the kennel cough. One must also administer parvovirus, distemper, and rabies vaccines before taking the dog to any public place. However, before the puppy can be taken to a kindergarten, one can start socialization at home with family and friends.

When choosing a puppy, talking to the breeder about it is very crucial. A person should give a detailed description of the kind of puppy they are looking for to the breeder. As breeders interact daily with their puppies, they are in better position of selecting a puppy exhibiting the traits the buyer is interested in.
