Prices can be much less however if you try your luck at a local animal shelter if they are available for adoption.

This dog will have slight wavy coats that are very silky and soft to the touch. It will generally come in three common colors of white, apricot, and white with tan and black markings. If the dog you get is closer to the first generation it will tend to shed much less. Also you should give it a bath at least every six weeks and make sure that you brush its fur regularly, optimally daily if possible.

Some of the health concerns you should know about with the cavachon are quite a few but manageable. It is a breed that is prone to flea allergies and also heart murmurs. Ears are prone to more infections than other breeds due to it being hairier in the inside. Thus have its ears cleaned at least once a week either by yourself, or if you have a bit more of a budget, by your vet.

A positive attribute of this dog is its size. Classified as a small dog, it can adjust well to living in smaller spaces like apartments and condominiums. It is also proven as a good companion in mobile homes and recreational vehicle living situations.
