The other method involves freezing the termites until they die. The option of taking your furniture outside may not work in cases where the area experiences frequent rains. The piece of wood infested or the furniture can be placed in the freezer for a number of days. The vice in this method is that larger pieces may not fit in the freezer.

Last but not least, is using of chemicals. One thing that you should know about chemicals is that they are poisonous. The key insecticide to use is boric acid.
