Care Tips Before Buying Bichon Puppies For Sale

By Raymond Carter

Lovable and cute are the adjectives people attach to puppies. They really find them adorable, especially dog lovers. The puppies create feelings inside them that drive their desire to adopt or somehow be a foster owner to one of them. It is costly, yes, but so does every other commodity in life. There are shops and online sites that have bichon puppies for sale.

Bichon frise is a breed of dogs who has white poufy fur standing out. They are generally small in size, not even standing more than one foot. They are naturally good companions to have with their quirky personality and jolly disposition. They sometimes are even mistaken as poodles.

Shedding is not going to be an issue because they shed little to none. They are good for people with allergies to have because they are considered and even dubbed as hypoallergenic. However, before you commit, wait for the approval of your doctor and see if any reaction comes forward to being near one of the puppies.

This breed need constant love, affection, and attention from you. Socializing with you as well as your family is how they show theirs in return. Playing outside can help them adjust in being left alone for a while. They can get distracted with their friends and playmates.

However, they cannot stand to being alone for longer than necessary. If you cannot commit to this or leave them for prolonged periods of time, the puppies and their adult counterparts will suffer separation anxiety. If you have to leave for work and other engagements, you have to leave them with someone you trust or come back home early.

These fluffy dogs are always active. You can always see them run around and play in or out of the house. You never need to worry about their daily exercise requirement. They have the characteristics of being a social butterfly. They love to meet new friends and people. They treat strangers they meet with the same temperament they show their owners.

Nutrition is important. High quality food is more appropriate for them. If you prefer to make the food yourself, ask your veterinarian on how to properly prepare their food and food portions so they can get balanced nutrition. Regulate their diet as well because they are prone to overweight due to their small size.

Speak with your veterinarian as well in regards to their health. They sometimes get sick like humans and at times, they are prone to more serious diseases. It is important that you know the health risks that their breed is usually prone to. Allergies, juvenile cataracts, bladder infections, patellar luxation, and vaccination sensitivity are some of the issues they may encounter.

Grooming is an essential ritual to do for your dog. At the least, take them to bathe once in a month. Regularly clip their nails to avoid getting scratched. Brush their fur as well two to three times a week. However, it would be better if you can do it every day. Booking an appointment with a grooming center is not really necessary if you can do it yourself. Show your pet at a slow pace that this is going to be a regular act. They will eventually get used to their grooming ritual.
