Every dog may experience hiccups but it is more common on younger dogs. Puppies tend to swallow more air while drinking and eating. This will help the distressed diaphragm to relax relieving your dog of hiccups.

Since stress is also a cause of hiccups, sitting with your beloved dog and helping him feel at ease will relieve him from this unwanted condition.
